Bandstand Busking and Burning Acorns >>

Brokered Heart by The Acorn

By burning acorns, I just meant that The Acorn seem to be on fire lately.  And good for them, they deserve it.  Not only is the band currently supporting Fleet Foxes and Elbow in the UK, the were recently touted as something beautiful by a guy who breaks indie bands these days.  I’m a big fan of their songs on Bandstand Busking (a site along the lines of La Blogotheque) that film bands performing acoustic impromptu sessions around one of the many bandstands in parks across London.  Spend some time and check out bands like Ten Kens and Frightened Rabbit there as well.
