Little Comets, still pretty big non? >>

If we’re talking astronomically, then yes, even the little ones are pretty damn big.  Musically, they might not be that big yet, but Little Comets are shooting towards us at light speed.   Been seeing their name pop up on some blogs, most recently on Neon Gold, who I think really has a solid finger on the pulse.

They’re a four-piece from Newcastle sounding somewhere between Supergrass and The Wombats after a lengthy summer vacation somewhere tropical.  A good intro to the band is One Night In October, the video is below.  I’m digging it.  Think this song will reprise a couple times today.

  1. I’m really into Little Comets at the moment. I was trying to find bands similar to them. I came across this new band from Liverpool called Sound of Guns, don’t know if you’ve heard of them. I’d really recommend them. Here is their official site-
