Got a message this morning from Scott in Motocade (a four-piece band from Auckland, NZ) asking me to take a listen to a couple tracks of their EP Into The Fall.
I gotta admit, when I saw that the e-mail in my inbox was 12 megs I kind of cringed. Too many bad experiences here where people have sent large files clogging my inbox….
I gotta say, best 12-meg e-mail ever. I dig their sound. A good mix between sounds of Bloc Party, Strokes (and maybe a little Tokyo Police Club), I was blasting My Friends and Bomb Squad as I was getting ready this morning.
Now how are we going to get them to North America to play……
