Paul and the Patients ‘To The Lions’ Project >>

Starting this week, Brooklyn’s Paul & The Patients will be releasing a new self-recorded composition to the public every week for the foreseeable future, available for free and paid download on their Bandcamp.com ‘Song Of The Week’ blog.

Ambitious.  Hope they can keep it up.

The first track is ‘Tiny Red Light‘, a song that was written about a fight lead singer Paul Holmes had with a girl about his seemingly constant drinking.  Paul says ‘We had gone to bed, still angry, and neither one of us could sleep.  The only source of light in the room was the tiny red light on the TV that means it’s turned off. The lyric is really the unspoken conversation we had while staring at that light.’

Catch Paul & The Patients on October 21st when they play the Rumble CMJ party at Southpaw in Brooklyn.
