What a weekend…. NXNE was a blast as usual.
Tried to get in to see Sebastien Grainger on saturday at the Horseshoe but I was knocked away by a huge line-up (even for delegate badges). Timing never seems to be right for me to check this guy out (last time he played Toronto was opening for Bloc Party, I couldn’t find the funds to make it out).
You might recognize Sebastien’s voice as the singer/drummer from super-two-piece Death From Above 1979. The band parted ways, Jesse Keeler’s doing the MSTRKRFT thing, Sebastien is writing some songs for an album release this year?
