Your Sweet Love by Duchess Leo

Something about that string sample and the rumbling percussion. Duchess Leo are long time friends Dan Ryan (also of Pacific Theater) and Todd Buchler who started making music together in 2007;Todd brought his experience and knowledge of electronic music, breakbeat and DJ culture; and Dan contributed the skeletons of songs he’d been writing for the better part of 10 years. The two recorded for a year resulting in a deep catalogue of material. Out of these songs shone the five that would be their first release, The Duchess Leo EP. Since then Todd has began taking piano, music theory and composition classes and Dan has devoted himself to learning the fundamentals of audio science as well as the software and tools of music production.

Fast forward to this year in their first full length release Golden Gray (via Whale Heart Records).
