Blackbird Blackbird

San Francisco’sBlackbird Blackbird popped on to my radar weeks ago, but for some reason I didn’t get the best listen. Today though (coming off a good hour on the bands’ myspace page), I’m digging their sound. The band is releasing analbum called ‘Summer Heart’ (via 12″ vinyl on September 28th through Arcade Sound Ltd), which they previously had self-released digitally. Grabbing the attention of tastemakers such as Drowned In Sound, In Your Speakers and The Line of Best Fit, the record is apparently the perfect late summer album to transition you from summer to fall.
